Michelle Sedas 2.0 Name My Blog Contest

A New Contest! Yay!

Over three years ago, before Welcome The Rain was published, I designed my author website. Since then, I’ve cofounded a company, have written more books, and have been published in five Chicken Soup for the Soul books. And, I’ve cut my hair. (A drastic haircut is *huge* for a girl!) In the last three years, I’ve found my place. I’ve found my voice. And I’m ready for my website to reflect MichelleSedas 2.0.

I’d like you to help me with my first task in my Michelle Sedas 2.0 website renovation: Name My Blog. With categories like: Things that Make Me Laugh, Running, Book News, Texas, Twitter and Stuff, and Hope, my blog has become a quirky mix of what makes me me. I feel my most recent Twitter bio also accurately describes Michelle Sedas 2.0:

♥ Mommy & Wife ♥ Inspirational Author, @RunningMomsRock Cofounder, CI-CPT, INFJ (aka a sensitive soul), Lover of Smiles, Happiness & Peace.

Enter The Contest:

I’ll be giving away copies of my books as prizes for this contest. In the comments section of this post, please leave a Michelle Sedas 2.0 blog name. Please also let me know which of my 3 books you’d like (as well as your twitter handle so I can send you a shout out), if you are chosen as one of the winners. Multiple winners will be chosen. If I *love* your submission, even if I don’t ultimately choose it for my blog name, then you win! YAY!

Other Fun Author Blogs:

To get your creative juices flowing, here are a few examples of other authors who have fun blog names:

Ann Leary: Wicked Good Life

Lisa Unger: Notes From the Margin

Lauren B. Davis: View From the Library Window

Laurie Graham: And Another Thing

So…

What a great idea! I wish I could help you, but my mind is blank this morning. I’ll post later if I think of something.

You have accomplished many great things over the last 3 years. Most importantly, each of these accomplishments has touched the lives of more people than you will ever know. Please continue to share your inspiration with the rest of us!

Hello Michelle, I hope you are well. I love naming things. One of my favorite tricks is to use anagrams. I did a quick search of “Michelle Sedas” and my favorite two are “Sesame Chilled”, and “Lace Shed Limes”. Although they don’t have anything to do with Rainbows, Sunshine, or Rain which were my original starting points, I think they are unique and interesting. I will probably come up with something else but this will be my first stab at Michelle Sedas 2.0. : )

I guess I would like Welcome the Rain.

Good luck on finding the right name.

    George

Hello Michelle, You have so many interests and avenues of creation it is impossible for me to pin you down to one idea without minimizing all that you are about, so I will suggest “Michelle Running Amok” and hope you have a nice day.

I like the idea of combining the running and the writing, so my first entry would be:

    “Running Through My Mind”

Which can have different variations, like:

    Whats running through my mind…
    Running through my thoughts…
    What’s running through my thoughts…

    I’ll keep thinking :)

    let’s see, Michelle…

I work best by throwing rainbow-hued spaghetti at the wall.

    Michelle Sedas: Rain Dancing
Michelle Sedas: Tracing Silver in the Clouds
Michelle Sedas: Silver Ink, Muddy Feet
Michelle Sedas: An Irresponsibility of Joy
    Michelle Sedas: Radiant Mudpies

hmmm…..if we were doing this over coffee, it’d get nuts in a hurry :-)

    Thanks Jacob!! FUN!!

And rainbow-hued spaghetti sounds yummy! Let’s have *that* when we’re in Austin. Of course, you and I will be wearing our Superhero capes! :-) And bring on the coffee! I’d love for you to get to play in the fun patch. :-)
